Good things are worth waiting for! Every time I produce a “Car Guy” DVD I feel I’m creating good memories for people to enjoy.
Doyte & Rickie Miller are enjoying good memories every time they drive their beautiful red 1957 Chevy.
In 1962, when they were dating, Doyte had a 1957 Chevy and thirty-six years later, in ’98, they got the ’57 Chevy they now have.
Doyte pretty much re-did the entire car in the beautiful Regal Red and two-tone gray interior.
It has a 327 cubic inch Chevy engine and GM 400 transmission, big ten bolt rear-end, power steering,
four wheel power disc brakes and, of course, air conditioning. Their car didn’t have the air conditioning back in 1962.
They enjoy driving and showing their car. Who wouldn’t? You can find Doyte directing traffic every Friday evening in Troutman
at the weekly cruise-in in the parking lot across from the Troutman Fair Grounds.
