Back in the sixties, in the "Muscle Car" era Pontiac's entry was the GTO. Terry has owned his 1970 Pontiac GTO
convertible for over twenty years.
It's a frame off restoration with a 400 cubic inch engine and four-speed
transmission and as nice an example of what the GTO was as you'll find. Everything is correct, including the color,
but it does have some very nice wheels and tires on it that don't hurt a thing and modernize it's appearance.
Now, who knows what GTO stood for? They have often been referred to as "goats", but that's certainly not correct!
If you said "Gran Turismo Omologato" give yourself a gold star, because that's absolutely right.
